We aim to prepare and provide resident contracts within the first week of admission.
This confirms the funding agreed on admission and details terms and conditions of residency at Elderholme.

We also issue a sponsor’s agreement alongside the contract, which is required in certain circumstances where a resident is unable to access their funds personally and must rely on relatives or friends to make payments on their behalf.
We ask sponsors to inform us if funds may be insufficient to cover future costs and to cooperate with us in seeking any necessary assistance from local authorities.

The notice period for residents to terminate long term placement is 28 days. Elderholme will only terminate the contract in the limited circumstances set out in the Residents Contract. In the event of death in residence, the room is kept 3 days or as agreed with the home manager.
