It is always sad when a loved one nears the end of their life and needs additional care, but we hope that the thoughts and words of the relatives of some of our former residents will reassure you of the dignity, care and respect that we show to all of our residents.
It doesn’t seem long since we called to see you and decided that Elderholme would be the perfect place for – – -, and indeed it did turn out to be wonderful in every way. I know that he was really well cared for there by you all and we felt that you had all become good friends – the care workers all work so hard – I know that he always felt safe there.
Thank you so much for all your kindness, help and support over the past few weeks and for making the whole experience a little easier. Thank you for the excellent care you gave my dad, he often said how well you looked after him and he was very spoilt.
The family would like to thank all the staff that looked after my mum. Even though she wasn’t there too long she liked it there a lot and said they were very helpful and kind to her.
Thank you for the loving care you gave my husband while he was with you and your and support to me during this time and after his passing.
From the moment she became a resident, Mum was treated with the utmost respect, dignity and care. All of the staff; nurses, care assistants, kitchen, laundry and Sue on reception (who is always so friendly and helpful) were exceptional in the manner in which they cared for Mum.
