As a not-for-profit charity our primary motivation is the highest possible level of care for our residents, and to this end we invest heavily in training and facilities to maintain a high standard of service.
We have a high staff to resident ratio to ensure that our residents receive prompt attention, and all of our care staff are carefully recruited and rigorously screened to ensure that they demonstrate courtesy, compassion and kindness in their day to day dealings with our residents.
The vast majority of our care staff are NVQ qualified, and all of our care staff receive full training before becoming part of our team. Additionally, the highest standards of care, skills and knowledge are maintained with annual retraining.
At Elderholme Nursing Home we have a team of trained and qualified nursing professionals to oversee safeguarding, infection control, use of care equipment and health & safety procedures.
To ensure the highest standard of comfort and safety for residents and staff we aim to invest in the best equipment available, backed up by a scrupulous servicing and maintenance schedule.
Elderholme Nursing Home is committed to transparency and accountability and operates a robust multi-channel whistle blowing policy, including a confidential hotline to the chairman of the board of trustees.
